At the age of 19, Rebeqa recorded her first original tracks with Guitarist/Mandolinist/Banjo-ist/Madman, Al Koenig of Eagle River, AK.  These first hours in the studio were a gift from her Dad, who purchased the studio time at a local benefit auction.  During the two recording sessions that followed, Rebeqa layed down her first three tracks: Home, Brother, and Tomboy. Since then, Rebeqa has returned to Alaska over and over again simply for the pleasure of recording additional tracks with the highly enjoyable Koenig and having a Jolly Old Tyme in the process.
